The Web Design and Development Club @HFCC was formed in winter 2007 to provide an opportunity for students, alumni, and employees to learn best practices in web design and development.
Discussions, workshops, projects, and guest speakers are held to discuss and work on topics including:
- Web page layout, typography, and color theory
- Web page standards, accessibility, and usability
- Web page/site construction, web authoring and graphic design tools
- Web design and development process
- Web multimedia and animation production
- Web programming and scripting
- Content management and Web database connectivity
- Web hosting, marketing, and business development
Meetings are held weekly and provide an excellent opportunity for professional networking.
